Cascais Pestana Hotel.

Very good accommodation. Daily room service excellent. Pool and garden area very good. Courtesy bus to Cascais morings and afternoons a bonus!

Self-service breakfast satisfactory but dining area somewhat restricted/ cramped at times and little food variety while we were there!

Overall a very satisfactory experience.

Top Tip: Good grade Cafe and supermarket across the road from hotel.

Several dining facilities at park on seafront within walking distance.

Hotel staff really helpful.
Reception ,bar, and restaurant areas very small. Restaurant very busy at breakfast time and breakfast not that great but adequate Nice pool and gardens. Good location for walks. Supermarket nearby. Great to have kitchenette facilities. Complimentary bus service very good and driver excellent.

Top Tip: The restaurants in Casa Guia were good and less expensive than in the town.

We had a superior room which was very spacious and clean. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was good and varied - both hot and cold food was provided. The swimming pools and outdoor area were relaxing. Cascais is a 25 minute walk away from the hotel which we didn't mind too much but we also used the free hotel bus and the inexpensive local bus. The only criticisms we would have were that the towels were a little old and need replacing, and it would be better to have mugs in the room rather than small cups. Overall, we would recommend this hotel for its service, value for money and beautiful, quiet location.

Top Tip: There is a pastry shop over the road from the hotel which provide lovely cakes and pastries for eating in or taking out. Highly recommended.

Hotel is in a nice quiet area and being high up means some great views but if you want a beach then you need to travel a couple of miles down hill where there are some lovely bays. You can hire some free bikes just down the road which is a great idea or the hotel does lay on a free bus to A near by town with beach. The hotel it's self is getting a little tired looking in some places, not 4 star compared to Dubai but still Not bad and the staff always seems polite and helpful. Food is ok but nothing special depends how much you like continental food, personally I would just go B&B and eat out in local town which has plenty of restaurants. The pools are both nice and heated, there is a steam room/sauna which you need to ask reception to turn on 15 mins before. Almost opposite is a nice bakers that does really nice cakes and pretty good coffee too.
Oh also don't loose your safe key, they do not keep spares so when I lost mine it cost me 25 euros to have it drilled out...

Top Tip: Bakers. Free bike hire. Selection of small restaurants over looking the sea, from above..
