The Vila Gale Ampalius is centrally located and only a short drive from some of the region's many golf courses. The 357 bedrooms are all well equipped with air conditioning, telephone, television, fridge and hairdryer. The hotel has a restaurant, internet access (charge applies) bar/coffee shop, summertime pool-side bar and snack bar. Leisure facilities include a Spa Satsanga, tennis courts and putting green (these are chargeable locally and rates include use of a towel).

“ My stay was lovely, rooms a little dated, but very clean. We were 3 girls on a girlie weekend, my only fault was the 3rd bed was very small, good job I am only 5 ft 2 inches.
“ Top Tip: Leave your beach towel at home, available from hotel.

Thought the hotel was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did have two issues with room cleaning the first being a minor one where no fresh hand towels were left one day but the second was a bigger one where the room wasnt cleaned at all one day and despite contacting reception at 5.00 pm about it who in turn contacted the cleaners the room still hadnt been cleaned by 8.00. The reception again contacted the cleaners at 8.00 and it was cleaned by our return from our meal.. Breakfast was superb and the fridge in the room was a great plus.
All in all we would go back.

“ nice clean hotel with friendly staff. But the Casino Next door was loud late into the night, Sometimes up to 6am. Sleep was impossible.
