Stunning hotel. Spotlessly clean & a very relaxed, peaceful atmosphere.
Very pleasant & helpful staff.
Food was ok (a matter of taste) & plentiful.
The only minor complaint I would have, is that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms & it is practically impossible to get a jug of hot water once the restaurant has closed either after breakfast or the evening meal. So I'd suggest bringing a kettle & your own teabags/coffee (they only serve herbal teas in the restaurant) if you are a big tea drinker.
Overall I loved our stay & as a parent it made a nice change to be in Adult Only accommodation ;)

Top Tip:
Plenty of entertainment to be found about a 5 minute walk away. Small bar on the strip *High Tide* has great food, drinks (cocktails) & lovely staff. It is also a great place at night with plenty of music.
Bus stop is outside the hotel & you can take the green line up to the Old Town for about €1.50 & it is lovely way to spend the day loads of market stalls selling really pretty jewellery & gifts at very low prices. Taxi's to the old town will only cost about €3.90.
All the locals are lovely polite people.

“ The hotel was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was most friendly and very helpful and nothing seemed to be any bother to them. The food as excellent and the breakfast was more than sufficient.
“ Top Tip: The hotel was a five minute walk to the beach via the hotel private gate or a ten minute walk if you used the other routes. The bus was basically outside the hotel if you needed to go to the old town and a taxi rank was across the way from the bus stop if you needed to go anywhere else.

We arrived at this hotel with great expectations, and we weren't disappointed.
The check in went smoothly, the hotel ambiance was fabulous, the staff were friendly and businesslike. The rooms were lovely and cleaned everyday. The food was excellent, we had breakfast and lunch everyday and we had our evening meal there twice at 12.50 per person, excellent food excellent value.
The pool area was lovely and plenty of space for everyone. It was about 5 minutes walk to the beach, which was lovely, but a lot of steps to get down to, which is normal on many portugese beaches and rocky in places.
We had the browne and black suite and boy was that worth upgrading to, in was beautiful, and the scene from our balcony was second to none. We will definitely be returning to this hotel

“ What an oasis of calm & tranquility! From the moment we arrived, we we're spoilt rotten by the very professional staff and facilities on offer. Our room was ready @ 10:30am and it had the fantastic sea view that we requested. On return to our room the 1st evening we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of Champayne, fresh strawberries and chocolate fountain. (It was our honeymoon) plus they upgraded us to B&B...fantastic!! While breakfast each morning was the same...what a selection it was and so fresh & tasty. I can't think of anything that they didn't offer. Also - be sure to dine in on at least one evening. We found this evening meal to be the best quality and value all week. Complimentary towels each day for the pool also a plus. Every staff member that we met were very professional and as for the cleaning staff; they work very hard in keeping the standards in both the rooms and general areas. We both cannot wait to return.

Top Tip:
No need to pack beach towels - complimentary towels available daily at reception
We didn't enjoy the strip but perhaps its because it was late September. The Rockline bar situated only 30seconds walk from the hotel was always buzzing and great place to watch all the sports.
Late Sept - early Oct is perfect for couples of any age plus weather was high 20's all week.
Be sure to get taxi to Old town (approx. €5) The food offered there is much better than strip (in our opinions)
