The hotel is located approximately half an hour drive from Amsterdam. The most beautiful coast area of Holland is only 10 minutes away with beaches such as Egmond aan Zee and Bergen aan Zee. De Palatijn is an attractive, comfortable hotel located just a stone's throw away from the pleasant and historical city center of Alkmaar. Forest, dunes, beach and various points of interest are within easy reach. De Palatijn has 56 luxurious rooms which are in excellent condition. They are spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated and all suitable for the handicapped. They all have air conditioning, writing desks, remote control beds are medium to large in size. The bathrooms are also in very good condition but most are with shower only and do not have shower curtain or glass surrounds. This is a modern hotel . Hotel De Palatijn offers very luxurious and comfortable accommodation. This four star hotel is situated near the ancient city center of Alkmaar, known as the cheese city of Holland. jg/03/2009 ...
