“ unfortunately the air conditioning was switched off even though the temperature was in the high 80s and this was uncomfortable at nights, the hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. The hotel is situated close to the beach and this is a bonus for families with young children, The bar prices were the cheapest I have paid in any of the hotels I have stayed in Malta and there is a lot of entertainment at the hotel.There is a small childrens play area in a downstairs restaurant and this is ideal for families to eat while the kids wear themselves out.I would not want to stay here again but this was because I didn't think the hotel was quiet enough for us, But this is a personal preference and in no way was any fault with the hotel.There is a major refurbishment going on with the hotel at the moment and did not bother us at all.If you have a young family this is probably the best hotel for you to stay
“ Top Tip: Popeye Village is within walking distance or 1 euro in the bus for sadults and 50c for children.A nice place for a day out but a bit on the expensive side to get in but lots there once you are in. A word of warning the new Arriva bus service is terrible,always over full and you can wait 2 hours to get a bus (if it turns up at all)

“ Lovely hotel but stay was slightly spolit by the building going on at the rear of the hotel. It started at 6.30 am nearly every morning. I would advise to book a sea view room! However you will still get a liitle noise around the swimming pool. Apart from that the hotel was good, dining room a bit cramp! So we ate out most nights ( you can pick up vouchers from the reception for three restuarants outside the hotel, if you are staying on half board). Staff excellent, room very clean.
“ Top Tip: Go up to the top of the village to get more entertainment, especially a pub called "reflections".

Fantastic service and unbeatable evening buffet meals with everything cooked to perfection and tasting delicious. Helpful reception staff, polite bar staff and fortunate enough to have a maid who was second to none and left us with a beautifully clean room every day.
Bad points would be our room overlooked the building site of the new hotel extension. As the room was not full I would have thought we could have been given a room with a nicer view. The pool on the website also looked a lot bigger than in reality although overall a lovely hotel and would stay here again!

“ The hotel was excellent except for the building work going on. Our room was at the back of the hotel directly opposite the main work a pecker started at it got light and went on most of the day till at least 7 at night. We were out most days but evening when we wanted to have a sleep before dinner it was not possible because of the noise.

“ We have stayed at this hotel many times now and always feel welcomed by the staff it is really great. However this was probably the last time we will be staying at the hotel as it is becoming an all inclusive resort which does not suit our needs as there are many great restuarants to visit in Malta.
“ Top Tip: The restuarants within walking distance of the hotel are all good value and worth a visit.
