“ Staff very friendly. Breakfast good. Room good and well kept with extra large double bed. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Only BBC World and CNN TV channels in English. You need to be careful about turning on the internet as we were charged even thogh we didn't consciously turn it on!
“ Top Tip: Irish Pub.

We stayed here for two nights before our cruise. We were delighted with our room very spacious and clean. It was in a quiet area which suited us. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to leave our bags as the room was not yet ready when we arrived very early. Outside looking on to the Grand Canal were chairs and tables with sun umbrellas which were available to the hotel clients. We had coffee in the evenings and watched all the activity. We were close to the bus station so not much pulling of luggage over bridges. We were told of the free taxi to Murano which we availed of. However we were not told of the return journey on the public water bus and had great difficulty trying to purchase a ticket on Murano. We found the glass factory had no further interest if you had not made a purchase and just pointed to the waterbus for return. This trip is very misleading.
We booked out late saturday which was great and got the shuttle to the cruise terminal for 1euro. No need to get taxis or water taxi!
“ Top Tip: walk off the main areas to the quieter streets and there are alot of restaraunts with good value menus

A very nice hotel in a great location. All staff were very friendly and helpful with all questions answered. We had the deluxe room with the canal view. Very happy with the room, the only thing to say is that it is directly opposite the train station - noise-wise this was not an issue at all however it is a bit unsightly on the eye but this is only if we are being picky! Breakfast was good - continental was included but you had to pay a premium if you wanted anything hot other than scrambled eggs.
No noise problems fom tourists outside and a well decorated room in the typical Italien style.
Boats can be expensive from the airport to the city however the bus terminal is less than 5 mins walk and takes 20 mins from there directly to the airport and vice versa for €5 single and is very easy to use.
“ Top Tip: Take a 10 min walk away from direct tourist areas and the ridiculous prices for coffee etc drops considerably.

Staff were extremely helpfull and polite. The room was spotlessly clean and this was maintained on a daily basis.
We didn't eat at the hotel but heard good reports from other guests and given the time we would have liked to try it.
On the whole we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again.
