The Crowne Plaza Venice East is located opposite the train station, only 20 minutes by train from Venice town centre. Thanks to the hotels close proximity to Venice city centre, the hotel offers an excellent base for exploring the city's culture. The hotel facilities include a health and fitness centre, restaurant and bar area. The hotel bedrooms are all air conditioned and equipped with minibar, television and internet connections.

Hotel was very nice. Had Buffet dinner which ran until 10.30 each night. We arrived in Dining room at 9.30 and any food that was left was cold and was not replaced after that. They stated that they have a variety of 40 dishes but these a lot of these were different varieties of the same thing, eg 4 kinds of lettuce. Meats were legs of chicken and strips of beef, all cold.
We had to ask for potatoes which were part of the meal and instead of replenishing them they brought us a plate each on request. Nice hotel but disappointing food.

“ Fantastic Hotel! St Lucia (San Marco) is only 15-20 minutes by train. Trains are available even 30-40 minutes so no problems at all.

“ We stayed there for 2 nights. We did not really spend much time in the room as we were in Venice the whole day and up to late in the evenings. However, upon arrival at the hotel the receptionist Enrico was extremely friendly and helpful with all enquiries. He even provided us with a map of Venice and time table for the trains. Later on he even provided us with tickets for the trains which saved us alot of time. The room was enormous and had all utilities we needed. The only thing that I would advice is to be added an extra blanket to the room just in case that some clients like it very warm in the bed. When we were about to leave the receptionists arranged the hotels shuttle to drive us to the airport just for us for free. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend the hotel to friends and family.
