A clean abode to rest ones head after a day of sight seeing. Convenient location, helpful and friendly staff. Very much appreciated the air coditioning.
Coffee was very good, Would have preffered if the Croisants were not sweet. Would have been great if there was a fridge in the room for chilling of beverages.
“ Top Tip: 0.85 euros for 600 ml bottle of Pironi and reasonable price for Italian wine at the Carefour Supermarket (two blocks from the hotel).

This is a bed and breakfast so don't expect much. The personel are nice and friendly but speak very little english. The room is minimal: bed, desk, warderobe, bathroom with shower. There was a TV but one of those very small screens hanging close to the ceiling. My vision is not quite 20/20 anymore so I could barely make out the image. No telephone (you can use the one in reception) and most importantly no fridge. As the hotel does not have any kind of room service/bar, there was no way to have any cold drinks or fruits while in your room.
It advertises wifi, but that was not available in our room. You can connect at reception, which is open from 7 am to 10pm, but you are not really welcome to do that until after the breakfast is finished (9-9.30) as it is served in the same very small reception area. Speaking of which......forget the breakfast. The coffee is horribly strong (and I love expresso!), the danish bread is stale, the tea is weak....We had breakfast at a little kiosk down the street with nice coffee and both hot and cold sandwiches.
It is cheap and close to the Vatican, but all the other tourist places are at least 30 minutes walk from there.
“ Top Tip: kiosk down the street, last one before the trafic lights, has friendly staff and cheap and very good coffee and sandwiches. Ice cream at the Old Bridge (just by the Vatican wall) is one of the best we have had in Rome.

“ A supberb location for the Vatican, 5 mins walk away. Directly outside a Metro stop. A tram service across the road. Good restuarants used by local people. in general a very good location for touring central Rome and the Vatican City. Sharing of the bathroom facilities did not prove to be a problem. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was not luxury but how long do you spend in the bedroom when there are so many sights to be seen. They were very clean, with clean towels each day and bed very comfortable. Breakfast consisted of coffee and croisants.
“ Top Tip: Very good restaurant called Giacomelli on Via Emilio, turn left out of the entrance then left again, walk till you come to Via Emilio then turn left. It was very busy with locals even for a Tuesday night but they made room for us and made us very welcome. Another good one is on Via Scipioni, turn right along Via Ottaviano then first right, its the first restaurant on your right.
