Although this was a nice hotel, it fell short of having all of the luxuries of a true 4 star and was more in line with 3 star accomodation. It is attractively situated overlooking the park, and consequently being away from much of the city noise (note - this is NOT a central hotel but we had no trouble walking to the Metro and hopping on and off all day!) The staff were polite and helpful, the rooms clean and pleasant with a tidy bathroom, mini bar and tv, an attractive lounge area and bar downstairs and free use of the computer and internet! It was a ten minute walk to the Metro (at 4euros to travel endlessly for 24 hours, this is a MUST!), and there were shops and restaurants in close proximity. On the down side, the showers were tepid, the tv didnt work properly (noise problems) the walls were thin, leaving us at the mercy of the sound of children calling parents, the lift is miniscule (not for the claustrophobic!) and some of the decor was a little bit shabby in places. The buffet breakfast is a continental breakfast, which was very nice and a packed lunch could be purchased too. Overall, good value for money, pleasant accomodation in reasonable reach of all that Rome has to offer.

Top Tip: Get your bearings right! We didnt find the hotel map very useful and it took a couple of goes before we found our way to the Metro stop. Once we did however, there was no stopping us and we explored all the major sites and some we had never heard of.

The hotel is clean and near to all the amenities. The problem we had were, the receptionist, he should be friendly to all their clients regardless of their race, the wifi works only on the ground floor. And lastly there should be an english channel on their telly. We did not enjoy watching telly because we couldn't understand any word they say.

Top Tip: There are italian and chinese restaurants near to the hotel. And if you want to explore the city the Metro (underground) is just 700 meters away 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

This hotel should NOT have been given a 4 star rating.... Don't expect it to be of 4 star quility, More like a 2 / 3 star hotel IMHO

Top Tip: bus stop just around the corner and do as the romans do just get on and don't pay... You can buy your ticket in the shop with the T sign outside for as little as 1 euro for 90 mins travel

Friendly staff, easy to get to the centre (takes about 30mins by bus or metro), clean, small rooms. Wasn't impressed with the breakfast.
