Directly on the sea, situated neraby the coast between Cagliari and Villasimius, about 25 km from Cagliari, at Marina di Capitana, our resort is inserted in an enchanting natural landscape that overlooks the Gulf of the Angels. We have 220 rooms, standard or sea view, all beautifully and immaculately furnished with luxurious textiles. Comforts include air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, mini-bar and safe. An open air restaurant provides guests a wonderful view over the sea and a very refined Italian cuisine together with a large selection of local dishes with a buffet service. Diet menus are also available. There are 2 bars, one in the lobby and one with a beautiful view overlooking the swimming pool. This really is a sports paradise with a 1500 square metre fresh water swimming pool, with a separate children’s area, tennis courts, beach volley, a multipurpose sports area, football, archery, table tennis, water aerobics, step aerobics, canoeing and sailing. “ Reception staff friendly but english was a problem. Also was not told that we needed a pre loaded card to obtain drinks in restaurant until embarassed by stroppy waitress but other staff were fine. Beach poor as full of seaweed.

The Iberostar Hotel Carlos V is located just 20 m from the sea and 2 km from the closest beach. 1.5 km from the historical centre of Alghero. The hotel has a reception, lounge, restaurant, bar, piano bar, children’s playground, elevator and a pool area with sun beds, parasols and children’s pool. The guestrooms are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom/shower, hairdryer, TV, telephone, Internet connection, mini bar, safe deposit box and balcony or terrace.
“ The staff were very helpful and accommodating with all requests. Rooms were cleaned every day and of a high standard.Unfortunately for us we visited out of season (early April) even though the weather consisted of warm days as well as thunder and lighting,lots of rain,the hotel made the stay very pleasant to what could have otherwise been a disaster.
