“ This is a top class hotel . The decor is very stylish, the tiling and marbel unusual and rather grecian. It is very centrally located ,quiet but only a short stroll from busy town centre. The rooms are spacious and comfortable8.8 Excellent

“ Top Tip: We went to the gap of Dunloe which is only about 16km from Killarney the weather was awful so raingear is very advisable... went to Kate Kearneys Cottage afterwards for soup and sandwiches and found the food to be excellent with big portions and not pricey at all...

Have stayed here a few times and it's always very comfortable. Bedrooms are very roomy with lovely Molton Brown toiletries. Breakfast is good too considering it's a buffet. Also went to the spa which was out of this world and among one of the best spa experiences I have ever had.
I would have rated the hotel much higher if the reception/door and bar staff had been more helpful. They door staff made us wait for a lift while they transported luggage and I've never seen bags been given priority over customers in a hotel before! They also told us to try and sort out umbrellas ourselves at reception when we asked, despite three of them standing around at the door chatting. Finally, they only stock certain wines at different bars within the hotel and despite there being very few people in the bar downstairs the barman left us walk upstairs to another bar to get the wine we wanted. The staff in the hotel generally just don't seem to go that extra mile.
“ Top Tip: They serve fabulous cocktails in the Ross Hotel across the road. And the staff in the Plaza could learn a thing or two from them!
