Upon arrival tired from travel we found the reception
Staff a bit over zealous but suitably professional.
The pool my son and I looked forward to was quite
a long walk uphill in a separate building from the hotel.
Not exactly kid friendly, no shallow walk I but jump in
3 feet deep. No private dressing area and dirty making
it hard to change etc.
Room was average, nothing special but comfortable.
Bar food was good but service a bit slow.
The other restaurant seemed on the expensive side.
Overall an ok experience.

Hotel is located outside of Cork city, requires car/Taxi to go into the town center. The hotel and rooms are starting to show its age and has a worn around the edges feel. The pool is a 5 min walk on the grounds or a quick drive as its located on top of the hill on the Hotel grounds,to be honest not a major big deal.
the pool is nice and big and if your a confident in water has a great deep end,fab for diving into.
What makes the hotel stand out is the staff, everyone second to none.More than willing to help ,full of chat and do there best to make your stay a pleasent one, other hotels could take a leaf from there book.
All in all a good place to stay for a short stay.
