Top quality City hotel.
Luxurious. Refined.
Rooms extremely well-appointed and very comfortable. Bathrooms all marble and granite.Excellentr breakfast buffet with superbly fresh food and wide selection.
Achitecturally, a stunning bringing-together of an attractive eliptically-shaped 58 floor sky-scraper with sumptuos decoration and furnishings. Very impressive lobby.Outstanding views over Victoria Bay or The Peak
Stayed over Christmas when there were many families and childre but very much suited to the business traveller.
The hotel connects by way of lift directly down into the high-end Pacific Place shopping mall for shopaholics.
Superb breakfasts with an abundance of delicious foods, fruit, patsries, freshly cooked breakfast items catering to every nationality of cuisine.
An excellent hotel in every respect. Highly recommended.

“ Quite superb, as soon as you arrive you are made to feel like a very very special guest - nothing is too much trouble - if they feel everything isnt working to the second they apologise. The service is amazing within the 3 minutes it took from being issued a key to my room and putting the key in teh door some 50 stories up someone had put fresh fruit in the room and a pot of very refreshing tea. In the room they have thought of every possible thing you might need, you dont need to bring a washbag everything yo might need is there. Very high quality standard of room. The gym and pool is excellent. The breakfast choice was superb ideal if you are jet lagged and not sure if its lunch dinner or breakfast that you shoudl be having. The staff really are top notch, the only other place I have stayed where I have seen such good service was in one of the most expensive hotels in dubai and that was only because my friend had virtually lived there for six months - I got the same service for one night in Hong Kong. I will certainly stay here again and any of tehir other hotels in China - highly highly recomended.

“ Our stay at the Island Shangri La was excellent. One of the best in the world and our every need was taken care of. Buffet breakfast is awesome. The location is excellent and we wished we had stayed longer.
“ Top Tip: The hotel restaurants are excellent and there are restaurants in Pacific Mall on the Ground Floor. We tried the Italian and the food and atmosphere were very good.
