“ Rooms are lovely and spacious with good sized balconies. We were at the top of a very steep hill and had fantastic views over the sea and of the amazing sunsets. However, ask for a room nearer the pool if you have mobility problems.

“ Rooms are lovely and spacious with good sized balconies. We were at the top of a very steep hill and had fantastic views over the sea and of the amazing sunsets. However, ask for a room nearer the pool if you have mobility problems. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is good. Some lovely restaurants in the old village with great food. Beach is about a 15 minute walk away but well worth it and there are some very nice tavernas down there.

“ The pictures of the rooms on the website are nothing like the room we had. I would not have booked this hotel if they had posted photos of the room that we got. This was not a 4* hotel. The room we were initially given was tiny, old fashioned and the smell of sewage from the bathroom was suffocating. We had no toilet roll or soap and the room was dirty. We complained several times but the hotel manager was never there to talk to and so the staff had limited power. We were eventually given the option to change to another room which was equally as old fashioned but much bigger, cleaner and did not smell. The room was fine and the only complaint is that it was nothing like the photos and was not 4*. Some of the staff were really nice at the hotel but a lot were rude and unpleasant. Other than that the food was fine, although I would recommend eating out as there were lots of nice restaurants, the pool was lovely and it was in a good location.

Top Tip:
Don't bother with Hydropolis waterpark- go to aqualand.
Eat out on the beach front, or 'The Lemon Garden'

This is a very clean and modern hotel. We stayed in an apartment for 3 peopel although it could accommodate 5. Air conditioning superb as temperatures outside up to 38 degrees.
Not as close to the beach as one might think. Walking distance 20 min. Beach at Acharavi not the best in terms of clear water or scenery. If you want to snorkel not the right beach but car hire is available and affordable €45 a day.
Best place to eat small taverne in old village to the right as you come down the hill from the resort. Try the squid or the quail.
As resort is built up a hill and spread out - we loved it - probably not suited for people who don't want to walk far.
Pool area great, plenty of space.
Breakfast varied and mixture of greek and english food (baked beans).
If you want to party a lot, probably not the best, but if you are lookng for a relaxing holiday in a quiet location, this is your place. Beware of the mosquitos. During the day not so much a problem. For the night, just keep the windows and doors shut all the time. Keeps the hot air and the mosquitos out. Air con will ensure you have a nice sleep.
