Had a "fab" stay with friends at this hotel, the hotel is small and the rooms are not big, but the staff are very good and give the best of advice. We had no French worth talking about but the manager and the reception staff were top class, better than you will find in many 5 star hotels. They sorted me out tickets for Moulin Rouge at the last minute and didn't take commission saving us €40. The hotel was very clean and warm, the bathrooms had all the things you might need if you were travelling light.
Breakfast was more than adequate and they served tropicana orange & Apple juice
The hotel is opposite the Metro (Rue des Boulets station on line 9 ) and is 5 min walk to Nation station. We intend to return to Paris and when we do the Grand Hotel Francais is option Number 1

“ Top Tip: le Galopins Restaurant - authentic French restaurant, on teh next street, full of locals so you know it's good. ask at reception for directions

“ Great hotel. Very clean modern and basic. Has free wifi access. Staff are very friendly.
“ Top Tip: Nation station is very close to this hotel and allows access to the metro which we used every day. This gives you access to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Moulin Rouge. Also is a direct line to Disney. An ideal spot!

“ Excellent hotel, friendly helpful service, small but clean modern rooms with excellent showers and every facility. Located between two Metro stations and convenient for all attractions.
“ Top Tip: As recommended on the hotels 'local restaurant' list the Chez Prosper was excellent, good value and a great atmosphere.
