The Hotel is very good, considering it is a 5 stars, it lack a lot. Internet service is equivalent to £90.00 for one week, I mean, which 5 star hotel provides not wireless service for its guests. Very disappointed.
Also, this Hotel has 2 beautiful swimming pools, on arrival, we found out that only the small one was available as the big one was under refurbishment, they would never mention that prior to the booking.
I booked my stay with the half board choice, but, on our first night, we dined and the bills were brought to me, I said I had booked on a half board basis and I had to leave my table and go to the room to take my Travel Republic Voucher to proof that I was speaking the truth. Very disappointed on this, but, after making my point, the shift manager Ahmed, was very apologetic and even bought me shish.

Top Tip:
Book your tour with the hotel, its is safe and they have amazing tour guides.
Don't miss the opportunity to have a camel ride on the desert its amazing!
"Mimo" was our tour guide, if you have the opportunity to ask for him, please do, he is an egyptologist and really know what he is talking about, besides, he is so much fun!
If you do have the chance to make friends with the locals, ask them to take you to "L'aubergine" and also a Karaoke night at "Deals" its absolutely fantastic!

The room de-luxe Pyramid room was smaller than we had expected. The view was great. We had also expected a double/king size bed but we got two decent sized singles. We had also requested a non-smoking room but did not get that.
On the positive side there was adequate storage space. On the negative side we had only one easy chair with a small table ,no dressing table, just a desk without a mirror and there was a shower only and no bath. There room was clean but rather plain.
#we were assured that the rooms with double bed were identical in size to ours.We were also disappointed that there was no room facility for making an early morning coffee so had to pay for room service.
The pool area was lovely but the pools were not heated and so a little too chilly for spending any time in.The pool bar was a lovely feature and the staff were most pleasant. The restaurant staff were charming and we found the evening meals to be much better than the breakfasts. However the coffee was very good.
I conclusion this did not rate as highly as other 5 star hotes but we stayed there to see the Pyramids.

Hotel was superbly placed for visting the Pyramids. Our room had an excellent Pyramid view.
We stayed on a half board basis. We found the hot buffet meals that were served were far from hot! - Only luke warm at best & only mediocre selection.
Drinks were over priced compared to other similarly rated hotels we have stayed at in Cairo.
Had a couple of Bar meals in the Harris Cafe. Service very slow even though we were the only people in there at the time!
Building work still in progress. Continues well into the night.Be prepared for some noise!!
“ Top Tip: Don't buy the bottled awter in the hotel. Small bottle charge was E£10. Outside hotel 2 large bottles for E£5
