Michaels Beach Hotel

“ Very spacious airy big rooms in this apartment, and with air con; bathroom very very tired and rather grubby however, could really do with fresh tiles and a new suite. Kitchen area had an electric hob and small oven, as well as a small fridge. Cleaner came in every day although seemed to just mop round the floors. Fab location and plenty of shade from the trees outside (unusual in July). Friendly owners / staff, helpful and courteous. Sea view from the balcony quite awesome. No supermarket on site but plenty of places nearby / across the road so not a problem; lots of parking. Definitely an improvement on a small hotel room, even though we spent a lot of time away from the apartment with family it was great to have space when we were there. One to remember !!

“ This was a budget hotel so we got what we paid for. It was a one bedroom apartment with sea view. The sea view could not be bettered - uninterrupted panorama of Larnaca bay. The beach was shingle & dark sand, and the cloudy water was shallow to the artificial breakwaters when depth was obtained. This made for very safe swimming at all states of the tide & weather. I felt quite safe even swimming in a storm.The accommodation was tired - the cooker in the kitchen was rusty and there was a separate hob unit on top of it, presumably because the fitted cooker was faulty. We did not attempt to use the oven, and the temporary hot plate was used sparingly. A radiator in the bathroom was rusty. I have sent you photos of these two items by separte email. A fault with the air conditioning was fixed promptly. Maid service was good with the room being cleaned daily, and linen replaced twice. The location was quiet. The local strip had a variety of restaurants - we had a bad experience in one so ate further afield as we had a car. There was ample car parking. The exterior grounds were rather scruffy and the swimming pool had a green tinge which looked rather unhygienic. A faulty light in the lift was fixed the next day.

“ Top Tip: The neighbouring Palm Beach hotel served excellent & huge lunches. The theme nights were not so good possibly due to October 20th being near the end of season.
The local beach is fine for a swim and sun bathing. The best beaches are at the eastern end of the island - Nissi and Protaris beaches having golden sand and clear turquoise water.

“ Very help full staff.Partner had a medical problem and they called the doctor out for us and they were interested in what the outcome was.
Would recommend this hotel.

“ Top Tip: There is a good greek restaurant called aprodite which is less then five minutes away and a another greek restaurant 15 minutes walk away opposite the mexican

“ there cleaning standard was not good at all,plus there was no phone in the appartment and the forth bed was not comfortable at all.the swimming pool was very very dirty with no one coming to lookafter it during that week we stayed there .

“ Top Tip: the beach was only one minute away from the hotel.vlacos restaurant was only 10 minutes walking from the hotel and it was realy excellant value for money and the food was lovely.
